I was born in Japan in 1960 and moved to Switzerland in 1990. Both in Japan and Switzerland, I always worked in a cross-cultural environment collaborating with divers professionals in various sectors such as banking, journalism and drug development. My previous position was global R&D senior project manager in a multinational pharmaceutical company based in Geneva.  The experience ignited in me passion for creativity and team synergy. I wanted to learn how to best facilitate these most beautiful human abilities, and that led me study coaching with academic rigor at Oxford Brookes University in U.K.

The encounter with Nancy Klein's Thinking Environment® made another momentum in my life. Since then it is my inseparable partner in work and private. The Thinking Environment® facilitates us to regain our true nature - good and creative. When we think and discuss under the Thinking Environment®we are not afraid of conflits, we become more creative, and we laugh and shine more.

Confucius said that life is simple but we insist to make it complicated.

Life is surely complex because it is unpredictable. I want to learn with you to elegantly dance with uncertainties and creatively transform them into opportunities.

Testimonial:

'Eli is the living embodiment of The Thinking Environment; her calm manner and authentic self are beautiful to experience. She created the perfect conditions for learning and thinking with patience, humour and a sense of unconditional positive regard for those on her course. I experienced her as a model professional, ethical and highly effective in bringing The Thinking Environment alive for me to understand and practice.' (Timothy Jones, Project Manager Finance, Canon U.K.)

'I thoroughly enjoyed the 3-day workshop with Eli Fumoto. Her gentle and clear communication style not only allowed us to totally understand all the benefits of creating a Thinking Partnership but also offered us the chance to experience it first hand. We were experiencing the Thinking Partnership environment while learning.  The 3 days whizzed by, were insightful and most enjoyable. As a professional coach I walked away knowing I had acquired an additional powerful tool to use with clients. (Suzie Doscher, Executive Coach and Life Coaching Switzerland)

'Eli facilitated a wonderful Thinking Partnership course in Zürich. The experience for me re-ignited the value of listening really allowing the thinker their own time to process thoughts, feelings and emotions. The Thinking partnership is a wonderful tool for me as a Coach but something that can be used in everyday life as well especially in todays World often filled chronic noise. Eli delivered the course in a way self assured way, with great structure yet a sensitivity for the participants process which made it a very unique and special experience. I would whole-heartedly recommend Eli and her skills to teach the Thinking Parternship and wish her a successful future in all that she does.' (Corrina Kingston, Executive Coach and Life Coaching Switzerland)

'The workshop with Eli made us reflect a lot both on our personal and on our team’s goals, which are essential to combine. Through Eli’s coaching, we also learned subtle yet very important distinctions such as the difference between listening and truly paying attention without interrupting. Thank you Eli!'  (Yoko Spirig, Ledgy AG, Zurich Switzerland)

'We've all learnt a lot from your workshop both on a professional side and a personal one. I feel like with just one session I've improved on my leadership skills massively' ( Lorraine Amoako, PIOT FOUNDATION, London U.K)

'Thanks to the coaching of Eli, the project was extremely successful, beyond my best expectations. Eli’s commitment, serious engagement, determination, competences and professionalism have been the key ingredients for such a result' (Benedetta Barabino, Director, Dance with Me, Geneva Switzerland)

'The space and time Eli provided for me to express my thoughts was invaluable. The time I had with Eli enabled me to bring all my thinking together and make sense of my thoughts. This was a very powerful experience because it allowed me not only to surface my deep thoughts honestly but to take action as well, helping me to focus on the things I want in my life and living authentically.'  (Sat, private client)

'I was able to formulate serious things through our sessions. I came to the conclusion that to be brave is beautiful.  It was a sparkling experience full of joy and new information which I hope I will use in the right manner' (May, private client)
